What This Session Could Include:

  • How to level up any area of your writing or freelance business, such as developing engaging stories/articles/shows, pitching editors, earning more as a writer, effectively organizing your projects, establishing relationships with writers/editors, how to write successful grants, etc.
  • Q&A with me on how I overcome various challenges as a freelance journalist and creative writer. I can assist you with a specific problem you’re facing now.
  • Editorial feedback on any of your writing projects.

FREE resources with each session, such as:

  • Books on writing every enterprising writer should read.
  • Inspiring TED Talks and instructional videos I’ve bookmarked for specific niches, such as understanding the writing craft better and motivational speeches to get you writing ASAP.
  • PDF e-book on the top online resources to get freelance writing gigs; the bloated phrases and words every writer should avoid; email templates on pitching news networks/writing journals; and much more.

Course description:

It’s not easy to break into the freelance journalism or creative writing spaces, but that’s where this course can help you tackle the challenges ahead of you. For single sessions, we’ll focus on the key areas in which you’d like to improve, whether creatively or strategically. Editorial feedback on drafts is available, too.
